Robert Parker vergibt 94 Punkte: Bottled in July of last year, the 2015 Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche is a daring and absolutely profound expression of Nebbiolo with the depth, thickness and volume you can expect from a warm vintage such as this. This wine is a veritable bomb of aromatic intensity with thick layers of dark fruit, spice and crushed stone that all vie for your attention in equal measure. The mouthfeel is characterized by thick fiber and lasting succulence, all capped with fresh acidity and a firm tannic backbone. This Barolo is classic Giacosa.

Mit dem Jahrgang 2016 hatte der L`Apparita endgültig den Olymp der internationalen Weinszene erklommen. Dieser 100 Prozent Merlot steht auf einer Stufe mit dem berühmten Masseto der Tenuta Ornellaia und dem wohl bekanntesten und gesuchtesten Rotwein der Welt: Chateau Petrus. Der Jahrgang 2019 ist von überragender Qualität, die internationalen Verkosten vergeben Höchstnoten: Galloni: 98 Punkte This set of new releases from Lorenza Sebasti and Marco Pallanti is the most impressive I have ever tasted here. The wines are strong across the board, while the 2019 flagship wines - La Casuccia, Bellavista and LApparita - are off the charts great. Pallanti has long coaxed notable intensity from these vineyards, but the 2019s add dimensions of freshness and energy that are simply breathtaking. I tasted these wines a few weeks later in my home in New York, far away from the bucolic setting of Ama, and was equally blown away. Robert Parker: 98 Punkte One of the stars of Italian enology, this iconic wine is Merlot in name but Tuscan in spirit. The LApparita is a gorgeous wine and one that brings an enormous sense of excitement and energy to those who drink it. Its texture is soft and rich, yet the tannins are gentle and round. There is plenty of substance and structure here, however, with seamless layers of black fruit, cherry, sweet spice and tobacco. The wines complexity is enhanced by elegant mineral tones and a subtle, menthol-like signature. Temperature control and careful pump-overs are executed, and great care is taken during harvest to avoid any overripe berries. Cool, calcareous soils with many stones serve to insulate the roots and lock in freshness. The secret of this wine is magic of site, exposure and geology. This is another collectors edition of LApparita. James Suckling: 97 Punkte Enticing aromas of blackberries and violets with some fresh black olives. Fresh violets as well. Full-bodied and very rich and layered with velvety tannins and a long, long finish. Lingering flavors of dark chocolate in the finish. Powerful merlot here. Drink after 2026. Falstaff: 96 Punkte Dunkles, leuchtendes Rubinrot. In der Nase auf Minze, Preiselbeere, Zedernholz, dazu elegante Brombeerenuancen. Zeigt sich am Gaumen sehr geschliffen und vielschichtig, öffnet sich dunkelbeerig im Kern mit tollem Grip, eng verwoben, tolle Länge mit sattem Druck im Finish, kann ruhig noch etwas lagern.

Der Falstaff vergibt 97 Punkte und schreibt: Dunkelleuchtendes Rubinrot. In der Nase nach satter Kirschfrucht, verwoben mit Brombeeren und Waldbeeren, feines Unterholz, dazu ein Hauch Minze und Malz. Am Gaumen eng verwoben mit prachtvollem Fächer, spannt sich elegant über die Zunge, tolle Saftigkeit im hinteren Bereich, im Finale zudem edle Würze, druckvoll, wird prächtig reifen. James Suckling vergibt 95 Punkte und schreibt: Cool blueberry aromas with purple fruit and an inky highlight. Black licorice as well. Full-bodied with firm and racy tannins that are polished yet structured. Fairly tight and closed right now. It needs time to open and soften with bottle age. Try after 2025.

Er ist wieder der Star einer ganzen Region, das internationale Aushängeschild für italienischen Wein, begehrtes Sammlerobjekt eines jeden passionierten Weintrinkers, der Sassicaia hat Kultstatus. Neben dem Masseto ist der Sassicaia der einzige italienische Wein, der auf internationalen Auktionen immer wieder Höchstpreise erzielt. Wir freuen uns sehr, Ihnen den wieder wunderbaren gelungenen Jahrgang 2020 anbieten zu können.  85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, ein klassischer Bordeaux-Verschnitt, zeigen sich dieses Mal ausserordentlich komplex, opulent und doch elegant zugleich.  Sein komplettes Aromenspektrum und seine wahre Größe wird er zwar erst in ein paar Jahren zeigen, wenn man solange nicht warten will, sollte man Ihn unbedingt 2 bis 3 Stunden dekantieren. Am besten hat uns der Sassicaia aus großen Bordeaux-Kelchen von Riedel gefallen. Robert Parker vergibt 96 Punkte und schreibt: The Tenuta San Guido 2020 Bolgheri Sassicaia speaks to those who seek a more voluptuous, opulent and, ultimately, more accessible wine. This vintage is a precise reflection of Coastal Tuscany, as opposed to a more generic Tuscan wine from elsewhere in this large central Italian region. You taste the ripeness and soft fruit weight that comes from a coastal appellation with especially bright luminosity and warm Mediterranean offshore breezes. Sassicaia from the cool vintages is a famously reticent or withholding wine in its earliest years, requiring a long lead time before it eases into an ideal drinking window. Thats definitely not the case here. This wine is beautiful and compelling straight out of the gate, showing a lovely mix of dark fruit, oak spice, balanced freshness, textural richness, soft tannins and an expertly contained 14% alcohol content. The wines immediate character is what distinguishes this vintage, and I wouldnt get too fussed by exaggerated cellar-aging ambitions. The wine awards sheer pleasure in its current form, with dazzling primary fruit and soaring intensity over the near and medium term.
